The mission of Cortlandt W A T C H is to provide support to residents of the Town of Cortlandt who feel that a good quality of life is dependent on putting limits on suburban sprawl, unbridled development and the erosion of the environment taking place in Cortlandt.
We work to achieve these goals by monitoring proposals for development projects before the Planning Board, working with homeowner groups questioning development in their communities, volunteering on Town Committees concerned with the environment, and taking public stands on issues of concern to all Cortlandt Homeowners.
- We are a not-for-profit, non-partisian organization willing to work with citizen groups, homeowner organizations, town boards, town departments, developers and interested individuals to foster our goal.
- We met the first Wednesday of the month at the Mohegan Colony School at 7:30pm.
