BEFORE THE PLANNING BOARD

This page is devoted to proposals for development currently before the Planning Board and actions regarding these proposals.

The Planning Board's agenda is published on the Town's web site meeting schedules.

The  The meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month.  A work session at 7pm precedes the formal meeting at 8pm. We will highlight major proposals on this page.

Currently in the Town there is a moratorium on new building proposals over five units or 20,000sf.

 

Recent Actions of the Planning Board

MAJOR PROPOSALS 

    Approval was given for three lots for Kings Ferry commons.  Building plans will be discussed when the property owner approaches the town for approval.

    Plans for the proposed hotel at the Rock Cut were shown with several changes from the original plan.

    The proposal for homes on Lexington Ave. Red Mill Road and Mill court was adjourned to the was adjourned after much discussion to November 7. * At the 10/23 meeting of the Town Board a resolution was passed authorizing the appraisal of this property.

     * The Public Hearing scheduled for November on the Tree Ordinance was rescinded and another meeting will be scheduled in the future.
